Two weeks abroad

The quite summer is over. Holiday time is gone. So it is back the time of traveling.

I spent two amazing weeks in Austria and France, at two hacking events. In Krems took place A1 Innovation Days Sprint:

I have already a nomination for my annual top related to Kamailio (OpenSER) ecosystem (see the last year).

Another great week was spent in Paris, at INRIA, with SIP-XMPP Workshop:

A lot of interoperability issues, questions, answers and debates. A baggage of knowledge that helps to decide the future development of SIP-XMPP gateway in Kamailio (OpenSER).

Perhaps v1.3.4 will be released by end of September or so.

Kamailio (the new name of OpenSER) project maintains last two stable branches, 1.4.x and 1.3.x. Fixes discovered are backported to these two release series. If you run one of them, you are set, if not it is recommended to upgrade to one of them.

As a side note to name change, all release up to 1.3.x series will use forever OpenSER name. SourceForge project is still the same:
